Carmen (she, her, hers) is a Program Advisor at CWEE. In this role, Carmen is responsible for supporting participants throughout their journey at CWEE and into employment by understanding the needs and barriers of each participant in relation to their employment goals. Carmen brings a person-centered approach in support of CWEE’s work and mission.
Prior to joining CWEE, Carmen worked in the Cherry Creek School District Transition Program serving as the Special Education Employment Specialist.
In addition to her role at CWEE, Carmen is active in the community, serving as the Assistant Track and Field Coach at Englewood High School and Race Director for the Denver Twilight Series.
Carmen attended Roanoke College, where she received a bachelor’s degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology.
In her free time, Carmen enjoys running, making jewelry, playing with her dog, and exploring new breweries with her husband.
