Invest in Parents' Potential
In 2021, the need for CWEE’s employment support has skyrocketed. This year served nearly 900 career seekers — a 50% increase over 2020.
The pandemic has forced swift changes in the economy, including accelerating automation. The career seekers we serve face barriers to employment that require extra support to overcome and keep pace with the changing labor market:
- 76% are single parents
- 47% do not have stable housing
- 45% do not have a high school diploma/equivalent
- 71% do not have primary child care
- 37% have unreliable transportation
- 49% lack a computer or internet access
With your support, CWEE is tapping the potential of workers who are too often overlooked.
Donations to CWEE of $250 or more may be eligible for a 25% Denver Enterprise Zone tax credit.
