Connection

Begins Here.

Anna Tekippe

Clinician

Anna Tekippe is CWEE’s Clinician. In this role, Anna is responsible for providing individual psychotherapy to CWEE’s career seekers and helping them to connect with community resources, as well as supporting CWEE’s trauma-informed organizational practices. Anna understands the importance of relational and mental health in seeking economic stability and the way that poverty can create stress and isolation. She brings a deep commitment to advocating for system change and working to support survivors of trauma and oppression in support of CWEE’s work and mission.

Prior to joining CWEE, Anna worked at Project WISE, serving as the Lead Counselor. She has over 20 years of experience providing crisis support, advocacy, and counseling to survivors of interpersonal and systemic trauma, as well as individuals experiencing other mental health concerns and working to heal and strengthen their mental health.

In addition to their role at CWEE, Anna is active in the community, volunteering with her children’s elementary school in support of bilingual literacy and language development.

Anna attended Grinnell College, where they studied English Literature, Spanish, and Gender Studies, and the University of Denver, where she obtained a Master’s degree in social work with a certification in Trauma Studies.

Anna is glad to call Denver home and, in addition to spending her free time cooking, reading, and swimming, has developed quite the knowledge of the area’s many playgrounds. Anna can be reached at atekippe@cwee.org.
