Colorado families now have an easier way to find the support they need! The Colorado Department of Early Childhood has launched a website called RaisingColoradoKids.com, a one-stop site that brings together resources from 15 different groups into one simple platform, available in both English and Spanish. Families can use the site to explore more than 20 services they may qualify for, check application statuses for programs like CCCAP and Colorado Universal Preschool, and connect to additional resources like Colorado Shines and 2-1-1 Colorado.

Free After-School Meals for Youth
The Office of Children’s Affairs and the Tasty Food team are kicking off their FREE after-school meal program, running from now through May 2026. Youth ages 3-18 can stop by one of 14 participating sites across Denver to enjoy a nutritious meal. No ID or registration required. The Honoring Fatherhood Program helps fathers build stronger families through lessons about making good choices, healthy relationships, and money management. The program uses cultural methods like Living in Balance in their teachings. Fathers can get free childcare during class, transportation, connections to services, and $25 for attending a meeting!

Join A Father’s Voice, a peer-to-peer support group for fathers engaged with Arapahoe County Human Services. This class helps moms learn communication strategies, stress and time management skills, and how to develop a healthy self-concept. If you’re feeling overwhelmed, anxious, or just need someone to talk to, The National Maternal Mental Health Hotline provides 24/7, FREE, confidential support, trained counselors, resources, and referrals to any pregnant and postpartum mothers facing mental health challenges. The Alma Project offers community support for families with young children (up to 3 years old) in Southwest Denver and neighboring communities. Have a child 5 or under? SafeCare Colorado offers a free, voluntary parent support program for parents and caregivers with children ages 5 and under who need extra support to keep their families safe and healthy. Information session topics include identifying and removing safety hazards, increasing positive behaviors, and identifying common illnesses and injuries. Available in English and Spanish. Text Message Program – MEAL
Every child deserves healthy food. Yet 1 in 3 families in Colorado has trouble getting healthy, affordable food. Bright by Text has launched a new program to help connect Denver families to food, support, and let them know: they’re not alone. Any parent in Denver can text the word MEAL to 274 448 to begin receiving free text messages, in English or Spanish, with local and federal connections to help feed their families. Children’s Hospital Colorado ParentSmart Healthline
Parents can get peace of mind around the clock with the ParentSmart Healthline from Children’s Hospital Colorado. This FREE, 24-hour service connects families with pediatric nurses who can answer questions about their child’s health and provide guidance on next steps. Serving the Rocky Mountain region for nearly 20 years, ParentSmart helps more than 30,000 families each year and can also connect callers to community resources. Free Therapy for Colorado Youth with I Matter
Colorado youth can get support when they need it most through I Matter—offering up to six free therapy sessions for anyone 18 or younger (or 21 and under with special education services). No insurance, credit card, or immigration status is required. Licensed therapists are available for in-person or virtual sessions. Youth 12+ can sign up on their own, and it takes less than 15 minutes to get started!

Wellness Winnie is Denver’s mobile unit staffed with mental health counselors and peer navigators offering support, assistance, and resources. Through shared experiences, peer navigators are skilled to support recovery and mental well-being. The Colorado Crisis Services line has joined forces with the 988 Colorado Mental Health Line. Now, when you call 1-844-493-8255 or text 38255, you’ll be connected directly to 988 for the same trusted, 24/7 emotional, mental health, or substance use support you’ve relied on. The provider hasn’t changed. You’ll still receive the same consistent, compassionate help. This update makes it easier than ever to remember where to turn when you need support.

Denver Health is bringing free and low-cost health screenings directly to neighborhoods across the city! Their Mobile Health Centers offer primary care, breast and cervical cancer screenings, and health education.
