Reminders & Announcements
Update on the Government Shutdown
We know that a government shutdown can be confusing, and you may have questions about how it could affect your benefits. While things are still uncertain, here’s what we know right now: Colorado receives money for benefits in advance, before giving them to families. As far as we know, families will likely still get their TANF and SNAP benefits in November.
CWEE is here to support you and will keep sharing updates as we learn more. We know there is a lot of communication coming from many different places. Please always make sure to check the sender, do not click any suspicious links, and rely on trusted sources.
Submit Your Timesheet
Don’t forget! Timesheets are due at the end of each month.
You can fill out your timesheet anytime here.
If you have any questions, please contact your Program Advisor for support.

Breast Cancer Awareness
October is dedicated to honoring survivors, remembering those we’ve lost, and spreading the word about the power of early detection. Breast cancer is most treatable when found early. Women ages 50-74 should get a mammogram every two years, while women ages 40-49 should speak with their providers about the right timing. Men, though at lower risk, should also be aware of symptoms and not hesitate to get checked. Together, we can raise awareness, encourage screenings, and save lives.
