Career Readiness Programming: Our program is a 12-day in-person program that will provide engaging and supportive classes focused on digital literacy, job readiness, and social emotional learning. Contact your Program Advisor if you’d like to learn more!

We’ll present STAR Awards and share poems and special shoutouts to recognize the great work happening across our CWEE community – and enjoy some lunch! Participants are welcome to write a note to their Program Advisor or share a poem or message to be read during the event. All participants and staff are invited to attend.

CWEE Happenings
Resources Workshops: Transportation, Housing, & Food
CWEE is hosting workshops to help participants build skills and access resources. These workshops will focus on self-advocacy, communication, and self-regulation and will be hosted by Renee Kleck, CWEE’s Social Emotional Learning Facilitator. All participants are welcome to join! All sessions are 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. with Drop-In Support from 12:30 p.m. to 2 p.m.

CWEE’s Peer Support Group
Looking for a space to connect? CWEE is hosting a drop-in, bi-weekly Peer Support Group for participants! Facilitated by Renee, CWEE’s Social Emotional Learning Facilitator, this is a confidential and welcoming space to share what’s on your mind, swap resources, and support one another. Come as you are! And yes, there will be pizza! All CWEE participants are welcome. If you can’t make every session, that’s okay. Drop in when you can. Childcare isn’t available, but parents can bring their infants.
When: Every other Wednesday, 12 p.m. – 1 p.m.
Where: The Wellness Suite at CWEE – 2nd floor across from the participant breakroom.

Medicaid and Healthcare Support with CO Access!
CO Access representative Jeanine, CWEE’s former GED instructor, will be on-site next week to provide guidance on Medicaid and navigating medical care. Want to earn a $25 gift card? Participants who review and test Medicaid materials will earn a $25 gift card for their time. The review takes about 20-25 minutes.

Free After-School Meals for Youth
The Office of Children’s Affairs and the Tasty Food team are kicking off their FREE after-school meal program, running from now through May 2026. Youth ages 3-18 can stop by one of 14 participating sites across Denver to enjoy a nutritious meal. No ID or registration required.
