Zanaya “Zee” Garrett (She/Her/Hers)
Zanaya “Zee” Garrett is CWEE’s TANF Specialist. In this role, Zee supports participants in becoming successful, ensuring that they are maintaining compliance with TANF, and assisting participants with the resources needed to accomplish their goals. She brings a multitude of ideas, support, and successful transitions in support of CWEE’s work and mission.
Prior to joining CWEE, Zee worked as an educator at La Petite as a Pre-K Teacher and worked at Serenity Education & Day Treatment working with challenged children and adults ages K-21 with multiple disabilities.
Zee is active in the community serving as an Autism Activist and a volunteer with different organizations that serve the metro area. She attended Cambridge College to receive her AAS Degree as a Surgical Technologist. Zee also attends CCA to finish her Bachelor’s degree in Education with hopes of obtaining a Master’s in Education and Human Development.
In her free time, she enjoys traveling, puzzles, all things Halloween, and spending time with her children and family.
