Shelly Wilbanks

Program Coordinator

Shelly Wilbanks is CWEE’s Program Coordinator. In this role, Shelly is responsible for providing direct programmatic support as a first point of contact for participants and through coordination of technology needs. Shelly brings experience in providing technical support and a commitment to serving diverse and underserved populations using a trauma-informed approach.

Prior to joining CWEE, Shelly worked in the information technology industry as a business analyst and in the legal and nonprofit industries as a legal advocate for victims of gender-related violence and child abuse. In addition to her role at CWEE, Shelly is serves as a Peer Coordinator at Denver CASA (Court Appointed Special Advocates).

Shelly graduated from Texas Tech University with a bachelor’s degree in Journalism and from the Southern Methodist University Dedman School of Law. In her free time, Shelly enjoys reading, writing, cooking, and spending time outdoors with Hershey, her adopted corgi/blue heeler.
