Mikki Galiz is a Career Advisor with CWEE. Mikki is responsible for supporting a caseload of low-income parents on their path to self-sufficiency.
Prior to joining CWEE, Mikki worked in many capacities as a Counselor/Case Manager assisting first-generation low-income students with academic/career counseling, and financial aid assistance. She also helped ex-offenders find employment and stability as well as working with persons with disabilities providing helpful accommodations and employment in order to enhance self-confidence and independence.
Mikki developed successful trial work experiences for clients, worked with the DVR Business Enterprise Program for the Blind helping secure employment, as well as doing volunteer work with Federation in Serving Humanity (FISH) Food Bank helping low-income families prevent food insecurity.
Mikki holds an undergraduate degree in Foreign Language/Language Arts from CSU-Pueblo and has a Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Colorado at Denver.
