Mary-Kate is CWEE’s Development Manager. In this role, Mary-Kate is responsible for strengthening and diversifying CWEE’s private funding. Mary-Kate brings her optimism, enjoyment of learning, and knowledge of best Development practices in support of CWEE’s work and mission.
Prior to joining CWEE, Mary-Kate has held progressive Development positions at various human services organizations that specialize in anti-poverty work and mental health.
In addition to her role at CWEE, Mary-Kate is active in the community where she recently completed the Institute for Leaders in Development at University of Denver. She also represents CWEE on the Membership Committee at Community Shares.
Mary-Kate attended Dalhousie University in Halifax, Nova Scotia (fun fact: she is a Canadian citizen!) where she studied Environmental Sustainability and International Development Studies. Here, she gained an interest in engaging people to impact society through organizations they care about.
