Ian Cavasos

Career Advisor

Ian Cavasos (he/they) is a Career Advisor for CWEE. In this role, Ian is responsible for supporting participants throughout their time at CWEE and into employment. Ian serves as the main point of contact for his participants through regularly scheduled check-ins and uses a supportive coaching approach as they build skills to find and maintain quality employment. Ian brings his passion for working to provide equitable education and employment opportunities for all, joy for serving his community, and empathetic ability to build impactful relationships with others in support of CWEE’s work and mission.

Prior to joining CWEE, Ian worked in K-12 education, serving as an AmeriCorps member, Special Education teacher, and non-profit program manager.

Ian recently graduated from American University with a Master’s in Education Policy and Leadership. In his free time, Ian enjoys working out, exploring all the nature of Colorado, being a foodie, and spending time with his dog, Hope.
