Ian Cavasos is a Career Advisor for CWEE. In this role, Ian is responsible for supporting participants throughout their time at CWEE and into employment. Ian serves as the main point of contact for his participants through regularly scheduled check-ins and uses a supportive coaching approach as they build skills to find and maintain quality employment. Ian brings his passions for working to provide equitable education and employment opportunities for all, joy for serving his community, and empathetic ability to build impactful relationships with others in support of CWEE’s work and mission.
Prior to joining CWEE, Ian working in K-12 education, serving as an AmeriCorps member, Special Education teacher, and non-profit program manager.
Ian is currently attending American University, where he is working on a master’s in Education Policy and Leadership. In his free time, Ian enjoys working out at Orange Theory Fitness, hiking, being a foodie, and spending time with his dog, Hope.
