Emma Patterson (any pronouns) is one of CWEE’s TANF Specialists. In this role she works to support participants in reaching their employment goals by ensuring TANF compliance and making connections to other resources as needed. Emma brings a passion for advocacy to her work, and centers principles of radical honesty, radical listening, and mutual respect.
Prior to joining CWEE Emma worked as the Housing Coordinator at The STAR Project in Walla Walla, WA. In that role Emma worked to secure safe, affordable housing for those exiting federal incarceration.
Emma is a recent transplant to the Denver area. She is an alumnus of Whitman College, where she graduated with a B.A. in Art History and Visual Culture Studies. Emma enjoys spending as much of her free time outdoors as she can. When not outside, she is most likely hanging out with her partner and their two cats, Kiwi and Zuzu.
