Audrey Hannifin is CWEE’s HSE Instructor Lead. In this role, Audrey is responsible for providing instruction to participants to aid in their obtaining their High School Equivalency and further the skills of Adult Basic Education learners. She monitors the participants’ progress and gives them productive feedback as well as communicates with Career Advisors to maintain an open line of communication to work toward participants success. Further, she supports participants as they seek postsecondary educational and training opportunities.
Prior to joining CWEE, Audrey taught GED and cognitive education classes for the Department of Corrections in both the male and female facilities. She has also taught in the Aurora Public School system as a fifth-grade teacher and English Second Language instructor.
Audrey attended Colorado State University where she majored in History and minored in Anthropology (emphasis on culture). She obtained her master’s degree from University of Colorado, Denver.
