Ashley Blue is CWEE’s Employment Services Specialist. In this role, Ashley is responsible for supporting CWEE program participates in developing and applying career readiness skills and techniques through individualized instruction and career coaching. Additionally, she supports engagement opportunities for career seekers to connect with employers and help find quality employment options aligned with their long-term goals.
Prior to joining CWEE, Ashley started her career as a Survivor’s Advocate for a Domestic Violence agency in Georgia. She then transitioned into the staffing industry as an IT Recruiter where she identified and interviewed talent for open job positions. She brings with her a wealth of knowledge in workforce development, trauma-informed communication skills, and a passion for individual advocacy/advancement in support of CWEE’s work and mission.
In addition to her role at CWEE, Ashley is active in the community, serving as a hotline volunteer for the National Sexual Assault Online Hotline and is an active member of Denver Film – an organization that focuses on cultivating community and diversity through film.
She attended the University of Georgia, where she studied Rhetoric/Interpersonal Communication and Women Studies. In her free time, Ashley enjoys creative writing, board games, hiking with her dog, trying new restaurants, and is an avid moviephile. Ashley can be reached at firstname.lastname@example.org.
