Anesha Henningham is CWEE’s Program Specialist. In this role, Anesha is responsible for educating and upholding program compliance for community program participants. Anesha also responds to participants’ needs, helping them navigate community resources and supporting their holistic development as they advance on the pathway to employment success. Anesha brings a heart for advocacy, a gift of enthusiasm, and a desire to see everyone thrive and succeed that is a part of CWEE’s work and mission.
Prior to joining CWEE, Anesha held positions in the nonprofit and higher education sectors, serving in roles that focused on program and project coordination, training management, research compliance and high-level administrative support.
In addition to her role at CWEE, Anesha is active in the community as a self-appointed volunteer alongside her husband, regularly visiting with those experiencing homelessness to offer encouragement and support. Anesha also devotes time to mentoring younger women and teenage girls.
Anesha attended Spelman College, where she studied Biology/Pre-Medicine.
In her free time, Anesha enjoys reading historical mysteries, experimenting with new recipes, spending quality time with her husband, friends and family, and binge-watching House Hunters International.
