Alicia (she, her, hers) is a Program Advisor at CWEE. In this role, Alicia is responsible for supporting participants throughout their journey at CWEE and into employment by understanding the needs and barriers of each participant in relation to their employment goals. Alicia brings an open-minded, empathetic approach in support of CWEE’s work and mission. She believes in meeting people where they are at and has a passion for building community by empowering others to realize their full potential.
Prior to joining CWEE, Alicia worked in higher education, serving as a liaison for MSW students during their internship program. Alicia also previously worked with Education and Employment Services with Denver Housing Authority where she supported participants in developing career building skills to acquire and maintain employment opportunities.
Alicia received her bachelor’s degree in Sociology from Colorado State University and her master’s degree in Criminology with an emphasis in Cyber Security from Regis University.
Alicia is a Colorado native. She enjoys traveling and even lived in New Zealand for 3 years. In her free time, she can be found in the sky working towards her Private Pilot Certification. When she’s not flying, she likes to hang out with her partner and her dog, Daisy.
