SUMMARY OF POSITION We are currently searching for a Receptionist with excellent customer service skills. This person will need to have a cheerful disposition as you are the organization’s first official contact. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail is essential. The receptionist’s most important role is to courteously and efficiently answer, screen, direct and handle phone calls. The next priority is greeting guests, participants and staff in a friendly and professional manner. You will be fully engaged and busy from the first day and we guarantee there will never be a dull moment! ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITES: • Deliver excellent customer service to participants, community members and partners. • Manage all activities at front desk, including phone calls, in-person guests, and administrative activities. • Manage CWEE’s First Impressions clothing and accessories boutique. • Maintain a professional front office environment at all times. • Order office supplies and track inventory. • Assist staff in setting up meeting rooms. • Work across departments on special projects as needed. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: • Associate’s Degree or equivalent experience. • Two years’ experience in an administrative role. • Driver’s license, reliable vehicle and willingness to run scheduled errands. • Must be able to lift at least 20 pounds and occasionally move office furniture. • Ability to work in an inclusive environment with diverse, economically disadvantaged populations. • Ability to handle multi-line phone system. • Ability to model professional dress and workplace conduct. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and internet. • Knowledge of office equipment, machinery and computer technology. • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and appropriate boundaries. • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written. • Must enjoy being around people, but also enjoy working independently. • Ability to prioritize projects with superb accuracy. • Ability to sit for extended periods of time.
