CWEE Board of Directors are 100% committed to the mission of our organization and contribute financially. The board meets monthly, including a daylong planning retreat. Board members are expected to regularly attend board meetings, serve actively on a committee, assist in fundraising efforts, participate in the annual board retreat, and make a personal financial donation. CWEE also has a Board Governance Committee.

The Leadership Council meets four times a year and is comprised of a robust network of leaders with diverse expertise in multiple industries across the Denver Metro area; who will utilize their skills to support CWEE’s mission and staff in the following ways:

CWEE has an Employer Advisory Council (EAC) to advance our mission and goals. The EAC is comprised of employer partners, human resource professionals, and hiring managers in a variety of industries. Through monthly meetings, the Council advises CWEE on how to best align CWEE programming to fit business needs. Additionally, the Council provides CWEE's Employment Services critical feedback and ideas on how to best serve the needs of both the business community and our participants in regards to workforce issues.

Members of the Events Committee are advocates and fundraisers for CWEE’s signature events. Members assist in meeting our annual event goal which is critical for CWEE to continue helping single parents become self-supporting. Committee members are instrumental to the success of our events. We ask for a time commitment of 4-5 Hours/Month during high-peak event planning time in June-September.
